Tableside guacamole, Adobo fried chicken, pizza stand nachos, fajita chimichangas samosas and more is coming to Winter Park in new Mexican restaurant.
We told you in February the former Carmel restaurant at 140 N Orlando Ave across from the Trader Joes in Winter Park was listed for sale for $3,900,000. According to the Orlando Sentinel, it's been purchased by real estate investor Nancy A. Rossman and will re-open as Cinco Tequila + Tacos in July; it will serve Mexican food including “tableside guacamole, Adobo fried chicken, pizza stand nachos, fajita chimichangas samosas," street tacos, and weekend brunch.
The new Mexican restaurant will open within blocks of two other Mexican restaurants: Chuy's at 170 S. Orlando Avenue and Agave Azul at 900 South Orlando Ave.
Built in 2013, the restaurant building has 4,070 sq ft, a 549 sq ft patio and 92 parking spaces.
