Hamlin Market Food Hall to be Larger Than Previously Announced

County documents revealed that the previously announced 16,000 sq ft food hall called Hamlin Market coming to the Hamlin development in Horizons West with construction expected to begin in 2019 will actually be 26,000 sq ft according to Growthspotter . It will be located next door to Cinépolis (14111 Shoreside Way) in the Lake District. The developer is Boyd Development Corp.

Hamlin said in October the food hall would offer a collection of dining and retail options, a rooftop bar, and an outdoor seating area along Lake Hancock. No specific restaurant names were mentioned.

This location could prove to be lucrative to future tenants. Within just a 20 minute drive, there are 400,000 to 500,000 people living in the area according to Orlando Business Journal.

The construction timeline may be later rather than sooner according to Horizon West News & Info: "Hamlin has a tendency of announcing projects at a very early stage, which helps boost interest and home sales, but can lead to frustration from current residents with the lack of progress and openings."
