1. Week Two of Orlando Fringe Festival --- It's week two of the gigantic stage arts festival, Orlando Fringe. Week one saw artists from all over the world performing their original stage shows day and night. You can catch these shows all weekend long at Loch Haven Park. 

2. Cosplay and Creativity- The South East’s largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming event, attracting over 100,000 fans each year, Megacon, is taking place all weekend at the Orange County Convention Center. 

3. Civil Rights Films - Watch several documentaries and films about civil rights (and the lack thereof) during the Orlando Urban Film Festival Friday evening and Saturday afternoon & evening at the Universal Studios City Walk Movie Theaters. 

4. Peace, Please - Ever wondered what Buddhism is all about? Curious to learn how to calm the craziness in life? Attend the Introduction to Buddhism class Sunday 9:30 to 11:00 at Guang Ming Temple. 

5. Peaceful Publix Protest- David Hogg, a Parkland high school shooting survivor, is inviting everyone to their local Publix for a 12-minute "die in" on Friday. Per Hogg's tweet, this is in protest for Publix supporting a self-proclaimed "NRA sellout," 

6. Birdhouse in Your Soul - Kids can learn to make birdhouses and clocks during the Mini-Makes Open Craft Studio workshops every Sunday 12 to 3 at Blue Bonnet in Ivanhoe Village.

7. Everyone Gets Fruit - Community Fruit Tree Project's goal is to plant 100 fruit trees right where people walk every day and make it fruit free and accessible to anyone in Orlando. The next planting is Sunday 9am. Volunteers will meet at 1310 Osprey Avenue.

8. Ninja Nerf Night - Rent a standard Nerf gun ($3) and fight your enemy teams in three types of nerf fighting play during Nerf Ninja Parkour Night Saturday 7:30 to 9 at Urban Ninja Parkour in Longwood. 

9. Winter Garden Grand Opening- A gift and home decor shop in College Park named Driftwood Market has opened a new location in Winter Garden. Attend their grand opening Saturday 11 to 4 at 46 W. Plant Street. 

10. Big Group for Small Cars- Did you know the teeny tiny Smart Car's origins dates back to the early 70's when Swatch and Mercedes teamed up together for a special project? There's more to this little Smart Car than its unique shape and size. Look at customized Smart Cars and talk with their owners during the Smart Car Meetup Saturday 11 to 1 at Ace Cafe in downtown Orlando.
