MetroPlan Orlando (Website) says that Central Florida needs to get ready for connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) on public roads. Its CAV Readiness Study (Read it Here) is evaluating what this technology may mean for the region’s roads and transit agencies. It looked at what other regions are doing well, and how ready Central Florida is to respond.
Attend a workshop during which it will share the study’s findings to date, answer questions, and get input from the public tonight, Tuesday November 19th, 5pm to 6:30pm at First United Methodist Church at 142 E. Jackson Street (MAP). Free parking at the venue is available through the E. Jackson Street entrance.
