The Florida Department of Transportation announced Friday that it has deactivated one of two checkpoints for screening travelers seeking to enter Florida.
The Interstate 10 checkpoint at the Florida/Alabama state line has been deactivated.
The Interstate 95 checkpoint at the Florida/Georgia state line remains active.
