We told you last week that Phase 2 of the Church Street Tower project would be located at 225 S. Garland Avenue (MAP) and would include a new 32-story, 400 ft. tall mixed-use high rise building with 228 hotel rooms, 2,500 sq. ft. of retail/commercial space, 59,500 sq. ft. ballroom/hospitality space, 210,000 sq. ft. of office space and a 577 space integrated parking garage.
The application submitted for the October 15th hearing of the Municipal Planning Board includes more elevations, showing more detail about the building's exterior design. Those are included in this post below.
The construction of Phase 2 will not include the demolition of the Orchid Garden at Church Street Station (website). According to the developers, the Orchid Garden will be enhanced in the next few months. The tower will, however, replace the Ballroom at Church Street (Website).
Phase 3 of Church Street Tower is a 25,000 sq. ft. expansion to the building at 110 W. Church Street. That is the site of the in-the-works Church Street Food Hall and the current site of Hamburger Mary's and Pepe's Cantina.
