Cinépolis Luxury-Cinemas Hamlin is a 40,000 sq ft, 782-Seat movie multiplex at Hamlin in Horizon West, a new lakeside community by Boyd Development Corporation.
Cinépolis USA, a company owned by the fourth largest movie theater exhibitor in the world, Cinépolis, opened a luxury movie cineplex August 10th called Cinépolis Luxury-Cinemas Hamlin at 14111 Shoreside Way at Hamlin in Horizon West in Winter Garden.
The 10-screen, 782-seat cineplex is close to Windermere and seven miles north of Walt Disney World. All the seats in the 40,000-square-foot cineplex are fully-reclining and leather. The cineplex contains an upscale lounge-style lobby space, gourmet concessions menu and in-theater waiter service available at the push of a button. Guests may also enjoy beverages from the full bar menu, which includes craft beer and specialty cocktails.
The dinner menu includes burgers, crepes, New England lobster rolls, cheese platters, and ultimate nachos.
Guests will be able to reserve seating via cinepolisusa.com. Cinépolis will screen movies seven days a week with ticket prices ranging from $10-18 for adults and $8-14 for children.
Cinépolis USA entered the US market with 19 luxury theaters across the country including Florida ones in Jupiter, Coconut Grove, Deerfield and Polk County. With three openings this year and ten new theater openings and acquisitions projected through 2020, Cinépolis USA’s portfolio of Luxury and Premium cinemas will experience a 55% increase.
Cinépolis was founded in Mexico in the city of Morelia, Michoacán in 1971. Today it's the world’s 4th largest movie theater circuit, operating 665 cinema complexes, 5,313 screens and over 1,133,820 seats across 14 countries worldwide. It was the first cinema exhibitor in the world to pioneer the concept of luxury movie theaters, establishing the first luxury theater experience in 1999 in Mexico City.
