Colonial Lanes Bowling Alley to Close May 24th in The Milk District

This 1959 recreational institution will be demolished for a personal storage facility.



According to Orlando Sentinel Colonial Lanes bowling alley, open since 1959, will cease operations Thursday May 24th. The building, at 400 N. Primrose Drive., is 33,000 sq. ft. and has 197 parking spaces.


The Master Plan calls for demolition of the bowling alley building and a two-phased development. Phase 1 will consist of a 3-story, 97,500 sq ft personal storage facility called Titan Primrose Self Storage with 1,500 sq. ft. of ground floor retail on a 1.52 acre parcel. The content of future phase(s) on the second 0.98 acre parcel has yet to be determined.
