Dog Bar in the works for downtown Orlando

A hearing is tentatively scheduled for October 19th in front of the Municipal Planning Board for a Conditional Use Permit request submitted for on-site alcohol consumption within 200 ft. of the Diocese of Orlando.

The subject property is located at 317 N Orange Ave (MAP) near the corner of Robinson & Orange.

According to the hand drawn floor plan submitted in the request, a one story block building on the property will be turned into a bar called Pups Pub.

Pups Pub will contain a neon sign above the entrance, a skylight in the middle of the ceiling, a long bar stretching almost the entire length of the building‘s longest wall, and several wall mounted TVs,

The unique feature of the space is a tloor to ceiling bay door that, when opened, reveals a turf covered outdoor dog play area. The area will be surrounded by a fence with several “dog windows“ placed on one side.
