Financier Patisserie has opened at 212 N. Park Avenue (MAP) in Winter Park offering coffee, desserts, breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The first location opened in 2002 on historic Stone Street in the Financial District of Lower Manhattan. It was named for both its Wall Street clientele and the classic French almond cake basked to resemble a bar of gold, a Financier.
Visitors can grab a simple coffee and pastry to go, lounge about with a pot of tea, have a sit down lunch of salad and wine, or settle in for a full dinner of duck or steak.
The menu includes breakfast items like avocado toast and smoked salmon on croissants, lunch and dinner items like burgers, croque monsieur, duck confit, steak frites, and fried green tomatoes, and sides like french onion soup and macaroni gratin.
The pastry case offers tiramisu, chocolate mousse cake, berries cheesecake, lemon meringue tart, eclairs, almondine and more.
A full line of espresso drinks is offered. The coffee is roasted in Brooklyn, packaged while the beans are still warm, and shipped to stores within 24 hours of roasting.
