Little Oso (Instagram) will be doing a pop up January 28th inside Pizza Bruno (Website | Instagram) at 3990 Curry Ford Road (MAP). Hours are 5pm to 10pm. They will be serving pasta dishes. Dine in only.
The Menu:
South Philly Agnolotti - caramelized onion and cheese whiz, beefy broth and roasted mushrooms
Green Garganelli - kale pesto, walnut gremolata, lots of cheese
Egg Yolk Raviolo (one piece) - runny center, ricotta, sage brown butter, caviar
Spaetzle - roasted cabbage and caraway, mustard vinaigrette, bone marrow
The Toast - Bruno's bread, whipped ricotta, habanero jam
Knot Chaat - garlic knots w/ cilantro chutney, yogurt, and tamarind, chana masala
Spicy Carbonara Pizza - bacon, egg, fresh mozzarella, oso sauce
You may remember Little Oso from their most recent pop up inside Junior's Diner at 2920 Corrine Drive (MAP).
The owners of Little Oso are married chefs Nathan Sloan and Hannah Jaffe. In Los Angeles, Jaffe worked for famed chefs Michael Voltaggio of ink. and Jessica Koslow of Sqirl. Sloan worked for Jon and Vinny at their fine dining seafood joint Son of a Gun.
They strive to "be a haven for chefs, hyper seasonal, and causally fantastic."
