New Downtown Courtyard Event Space Coming to Rogers Kiene Building

Interstruct, Inc. (Instagram) will be designing and creating a new courtyard event space for the CityArts Orlando gallery at 39 S. Magnolia Avenue in downtown Orlando (MAP).

The courtyard will be located in the currently vacant space adjacent to the building which houses the gallery, the Historic Rogers Kiene Building

The vision is to create a beautiful public venue in the heart of Downtown Orlando, complementing the iconic Rogers Kiene Building, Orlando's oldest commercial structure (circa 1886).

This new space will be utilized for diverse, inclusive, and creative arts engagement, as well as private gallery-related and specialty events.

A fundraiser event called “Ford-ify the Arts” (Facebook Event) is taking place January 11th at 7pm inside the gallery. It allow City Arts to share their vision and raise capital for the project. Mayor Buddy Dyer and Friends of Ford Kiene are putting it on.

The event will be an inspiring attribute to the arts, Ford Kiene, and the new home of the Downtown Arts District. Guests will enjoy live performances by Orlando artists and musicians, food and spirits and a gallery show specifically curated for Ford-ify the Arts by Board member, Flynn Dobbs called “CELEBRATE.” Formal Attire is recommended. Individual tickets are $150.
