The owners of Orlando Milkhouse (Instagram) gave The Daily City a complete tour of their new bar and restaurant inside the Milk District (Website) at 201 N. Bumby Ave (MAP).
Orlando Milkhouse is expected to open by Halloween. It will seat 155 total inside and out. The front outdoor seating area will feature 44 seats, 18-20 TVs, glass accordion doors going into the interior of the restaurant, and shades that lower and raise automatically to block out the sun.
The interior will feature exposed metal trusses accented with floating soffit ceilings, actual working theatrical lighting from a real theatre, 8-12 TVs, and a Golden Tee machine .Ship lap siding will cover all the interior walls. The entire far left wall will feature a 20-seat custom built leather banquette.
The original convenience store refrigerator will be restored and functional. It runs practically the entire length of the back wall. Two of those doors will be exposed and used by bartenders. The refrigerator will have a keg room that will supply 29 degree beer on 12-16 taps.
