Oviedo is Getting a Food Hall

Food maker startups and gourmet entrepreneurs will have a new spot to get their feet wet in the culinary industry once "The Food Factory" food hall opens in 2020.

Michael Collard Properties, Inc located in Baldwin Park is developing 14,500 sq ft food hall called "The Food Factory" within Oviedo on the Park containing eight micro restaurants (800 sq ft each) and a 2,400 sq ft craft cocktail bar called The Factory Bar.


Seating will be available in of the each restaurant spaces, at the bar, and outside under acovered seating area.


They've announced 6 of the 8 restaurants:

  1. Dixie Dharma

  2. Kai Asian Street Fare

  3. Poke Kai

  4. The Steak Brazilian Barbeque

  5. Grain & Ember Pizza

  6. Rockstar Lobster.


Opening is planned for early 2020. The food hall will overlook City Plaza Way, Oviedo on the Park’s main artery to Center Lake Park.

The Individual bays will be 800 sq ft each and are specifically meant for micro-restaurant concepts. Amenities include high ceilings, a standard base package kitchen, outside communal dog-friendly seating options, roll-up garage doors, City Plaza Way frontage, and walkability to Center Lake Park steps away.

The desire is to sign entrepreneurs and first-time restaurant, food business owners and food truck owners looking to get their feet wet.

Oviedo on the Park is a 100+ acre master planned development featuring hundreds of luxury apartments, offices, retail, restaurants, the planned food hall, and a public park with ampitheater.  It is the city's new downtown live/work/play community that is a dog and kid friendly gathering place with city-sponsored events held every weekend.
