ICON Park (Website) at 8375 International Drive (MAP) has revamped its food court at the base of the famous Wheel, turning it into the Wheelhouse Food Market.
The mini food hall, open every day starting at noon, is the brainchild of Restaurant Tour Hospitality Group (Website).
Wheelhouse Food Market features multiple concepts: Shack Sweets, Sausage Shack, Latin 21 Street Food and 1905 Pizza & Pasta.
Shack Sweets - Desserts. New in November, Food Network “Cupcake Wars” winner, Jillian Hopke, relocated her Jillycakes operation to Shack Sweets and partnering with Restaurant Tour Hospitality Group. She will bake fresh cupcakes daily and offer dessert classes to the public. In addition to Jillycakes, the orange cake at Shack Sweets is a “can’t miss” item that highlights those famous citrus flavors of Florida.
Sausage Shack - The second location for this Winter Park staple features sausages handpicked from the finest selections around the world. There are 12 different homemade mustards to try, along with the freshly baked, giant Bavarian pretzels. Sausage Shack’s mouth-watering options include a bacon mac ‘n cheese sausage, along with bangers and mash.
Latin 21 Street Food - Latin dishes including an authentic Cuban sandwich with roasted pork and sautéed ham and a tostones plate: fried green plantains topped with tender meat, coleslaw and cheese.
1905 Pizza & Pasta - Italian dishes including specialty pizzas and gluten-free dough options. Guests can craft their own pizzas and relax, while the food is prepared fresh for them. Pastas include a choice of sauces and toppings made to guests’ tastes.
